British driver Nick Yelloly will race with the Atech CRS team in next year's GP3 season. The 19-year-old, who won this year's British Formula Renault season finale with the team at Brands Hatch, completed all of the GP3 post-season tests, and has been getting additional track time at Spa this week in a Formula Master car.
"I am really excited to be moving up from the British Formula Renault championship to GP3," said Yelloly. "To be able to make this step with Atech CRS is a real added bonus. No one should underestimate how serious we are about mounting a very serious campaign as a team in 2011."
Team principal David Hayle said that he was looking forward to seeing how Yelloly developed.
"He's been with Atech for the last two seasons in Formula Renault, during which time his rate of improvement has been massive," Hayle said. "He's just gotten stronger and stronger with time. I'm really looking forward to working with Nick again."
