Edwards expects stronger race pace

Colin Edwards expects to be able to fight at the front in tomorrow's French Grand Prix after qualifying on the outside of row two on his Tech 3 Yamaha. The American has a strong record at Le Mans, having taken pole in 2007 and twice finished on the podium.
 

Lorenzo shrugs off missing pole

Jorge Lorenzo is happy with the shape he and his Yamaha team are in for tomorrow's French Grand Prix, after the Spaniard qualified a very close second. The winner of last month's Japanese GP, who today was just 0.005 seconds behind Honda's Dani Pedrosa in pole position, hopes for a good start of the race and for the weather to stay dry at Le Mans
