Andre Couto will return to the World Touring Car Championship at Macau for a one-off appearance with the SUNRED SEAT squad.
Couto, 32, has competed in his home round every year since it was added to the WTCC calendar. He will drive the Leon TFSI used by Joao Paulo de Oliveira in Japan, and tested the car at Okayama this week.
He has had plenty of success on the street circuit in the past, winning the Formula 3 grand prix there in 2000 and taking pole for the 2003 touring car race while it was a stand-alone event.
