Justin Wilson will start from the rear of the grid for Sunday's IndyCar race in Sao Paulo after his car failed a post-qualifying technical inspection.
The Dale Coyne driver had qualified a season-best sixth for the race, but an inspection of his car revealed it to be in breach of rule 14.4.13.3 of the series regulations, which requires cars to run either a camera or dummy camera.
Ganassi's Graham Rahal will move up to the third row of the grid as a result of Wilson's penalty.
Further amendments to the grid are expected after Dragon's Sebastien Bourdais and Dreyer & Reinbold's Oriol Servia changed engines overnight. The pair join Bourdais' teammate Katherine Legge and Rahal Letterman Lanigan's Takuma Sato, both of whom were already due to serve 10-place grid penalties for unauthorized engine changes.
