ISR Racing has announced that Formula Renault UK runner-up Lewis Williamson will substitute for Daniel Ricciardo at the forthcoming Formula Renault 3.5 season opener at Motorland Aragon on April 16-17.
Ricciardo has been forced to sit out the meeting owing to clashing Toro Rosso Formula 1 practice duties at the Chinese Grand Prix.
The Australian is scheduled to return to the Czech team for round two at Spa-Francorchamps on April 30 to May 1.
Williamson will partner ISR's regular driver Nathanael Berthon at Aragon, before focusing on a debut GP3 campaign with MW Arden.
