The Williams team has confirmed that its new car will make its track debut on the opening day of testing at the start of next month.
The British squad said on Tuesday that it will definitely run with the Cosworth-powered FW33 on Feb. 1, when F1 testing will kick off at the Valencia circuit. Rubens Barrichello will undertake the first day and a half of testing duties, while new teammate Pastor Maldonado will take over on Wednesday afternoon for the remainder of the session.
The car will run with an interim livery, and an official launch will be announced at a later date.
