Robert WickensRobert Wickens has signed up to contest the full Formula 3 Euro Series season with the new Kolles & Heinz Union team this year.

The Red Bull-backed Canadian had already been placed in Formula 2 this year by the energy drinks firm, but he has now been unveiled as the second driver in ex-Force India team manager Colin Kolles' Volkswagen-powered F3 squad.

There are several date clashes between the F2 and Euro F3 schedules, meaning Wickens will only be available for two of the eight F2 events.

Wickens will line up alongside reigning Japanese F3 champion Carlo van Dam for the Euro Series season, which begins at Hockenheim on May 16-17.
