Congratulations to "The Professor of Pro Stock," Warren Johnson, who turns 69 today – and continues to compete in the NHRA's Full Throttle Drag Racing Series.

The all-time NHRA Pro Stock winner with 97 career victories, Johnson became the oldest professional winner in NHRA history when he won the AAA Midwest Nationals at Gateway in 2010 at age 66. He was also the first Pro Stock racer to top 200mph, at Richmond in 1997.

Also celebrating birthdays today: DeltaWing driver Marino Franchitti, who turns 34; Le Mans master Tom Kristensen turns 45; and former F1 racer Alessandro Nannini is 53.
