In addition to its full-season campaign in this year's American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón, Genoa Racing is running its ORECA FLM09 in Europe – including the Le Mans Test Day and the Spa 1,000K within the past month.
Below, go on-board with Elton Julian around the Circuit de la Sarthe in a special lap of Le Mans as Formula Le Mans cars were allowed to participate in April's Test Day. The Genoa car was the second-quickest Fomula Le Mans car on the day with a lap of 3:57.233, set in the four-hour morning session.
Julian also was at the wheel during the Spa weekend's most violent crashes after the Genoa car was hit by Matthieu Lahaye's Oak Racing LMP1 machine. Julian qualified fourth in class at the Belgian race, but Lahaye was taken to a local hospital for precautionary checks. He was later released with no serious injuries.
