Triple Formula 1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel will take on Jorge Lorenzo, who earned his second MotoGP crown this year, in the first stage of next weekend's Race of Champions in Bangkok.
The two reigning champions will be joined in Group C by five-time MotoGP champion Mick Doohan and the RoC Thailand runner-up.
Defending champion Sebastien Ogier has been selected in Group A, alongside 2012 V8 Supercars champion Jamie Whincup, 13-time grand prix winner David Coulthard and 2012 Production World Rally Champion Benito Guerra.
Eight-time Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen and triple World Touring Car Champion Andy Priaulx will meet in Group B, which will also feature the winner and the top non-Thailand competitor of the RoC Thailand.
Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok are among those competing in the qualifying event.
Seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher and IZOD IndyCar Series champion Ryan Hunter-Reay have been drawn in the final group, along with Romain Grosjean and an additional RoC Thailand qualifier.
The individual Race of Champions tales place on Sunday, Dec. 16, one day after this year's Nations Cup.
