Jean-Eric Vergne has been given a reprimand for not stopping at the weighbridge after his qualifying effort at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
The Frenchman, who was knocked out in Q1, missed the signal to stop, so his car could be weighed as he returned to the garage. After speaking to the stewards, it was decided that he would receive a simple warning for his behaviour rather than being moved down the grid or excluded.
The FIA said that the reason for the reprimand was that "upon realizing the error, the team, under supervision of a scrutineer, brought the car back to the FIA garage."
