FAZZT Race Team driver Alex Tagliani, who was admitted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis and held overnight to receive treatment to combat chest congestion and a persistent cough, was released late Wednesday afternoon. The French-Canadian is expected to be ready to go when practice for the 94th Indianapolis 500 begins on Saturday.

"Even when I was laid up, they were there putting in the hours to get it all done," Tagliani said of his FAZZT squad, which is headquartered in Indianapolis.

Tagliani, who relocated to Indianapolis earlier this month, is scheduled to be on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with other IZOD IndyCar Series veterans on opening day May 15 in the No. 77 entry. Bruno Junqueira will drive the second FAZZT entry at Indy.
