Two GP3 drivers could miss next weekend's round in Hungary after being injured in the sprint race at Hockenheim this morning.

Jenzer's Simon Trummer could be sidelined for up to a month after suffering a suspected fractured vertebrae in a crash on the second lap.

The Swiss driver landed heavily after being launched off the back of another car in an accident similar to that suffered by Josef Kral in the GP2 race at Valencia last month.

Meanwhile, Manor's James Jakes will know in the next couple of days whether he will be forced onto the sidelines after damaging the ligaments in his right arm in a crash with Josef Newgarden. The Briton will undergo surgery tomorrow.
