Toyota and Audi shared the honors in Thursday's free practice sessions ahead of the latest round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the Bahrain 6 Hours.

Alex Wurz topped the times in the first session in the lone Toyota TS030 HYBRID on a 1m47.727s while Benoit Treluyer ended up fastest in the second 90-minute period, held in darkness, in 1m47.403s in the #1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro.

Allan McNish and Tom Kristensen, who share the second Audi, were second fastest in each of the two sessions.

The fastest privateer time of the day was a 1m48.780s set by Danny Watts aboard the Strakka Racing HPD in the second session.

The No. 35 OAK Racing Morgan-Nissan LMP2 2012 was the fastest P2 runner in both sessions, Alex Brundle topping the times in the first on a 1m54.082s and Dominik Kraihamer setting the mark in the second on a 1m53.434s.

Darren Turner set the quickest GTE time in the factory Aston Martin Vantage GTE on a 2m01.840s.
