TOPEKA, Kan. (Nov. 30, 2005) – Registration for the 2006 Toyo Tires SCCA Club Racing Spec Miata Class National Contingency Program, which includes National event Top-10 payouts and bonus awards for Division Champions, is now open.
With more than half of the $1000 dollars at each Club Racing National event going to Spec Miata podium finishers ($300 – 1st, $200 – 2nd, $150 – 3rd) and the rest dispersed throughout the remainder of the Top 10, competition promises to be intense from the 2006 season’s beginning to end as drivers fly, slide and draft their way past one another for crucial class points and an invitation to the 2006 SCCA National Championship Runoffs® at Heartland Park Topeka next October.
To register for the program, sign up at any SCCA Club Racing event in the on-site SCCA office or download the form from www.scca.com.
Registration in the program must be completed before the date of the event in which drivers will be competing. Decals must be displayed and can be obtained through the on-site SCCA office or by contacting SCCA Marketing/Communications Specialist Jenny White by phone: (785) 357-7222 or email: jwhite@scca.com.
