Red Bull's "B team" could be on the block, if the energy drink conglomerate's founder Dietrich Mateschitz can find a buyer. European media reports claim Mateschitz is looking to sell Scuderia Toro Rosso, the former Minardi team which he bought from Paul Stoddart for a reputed $40m in 2006. However, Italy's 422race.com claims the asking price is now just $30m, despite the team having won a race since then.

The Italian report claims there are several potential buyers, including Villeneuve/Durango, whose bid to start its own F1 team for next year was rejected by the FIA, as well as Mexican industrialist Carlos Slim and an unnamed group of Asian investors. Slim has has also been rumored to be interested in buying a stake in the Sauber team.
