Kanaan cleared to race after fire

The Indy Racing League has confirmed that Tony Kanaan has received medical clearance to compete at Kentucky this weekend after sustaining minor burns in a pit fire at Edmonton. Kanaan's car was enveloped in flames when the refuelling hose failed to shut off correctly at the end of his first pitstop
