Martin Tomczyk continued his domination of the Spielberg DTM weekend by setting the fastest time in warm-up on Sunday morning.
The Phoenix Audi driver, who will start the race from pole position, set the pace in 1m26.285s with a lap seven minutes from the end of the session, enough to put him ahead of Maro Engel's Mucke Mercedes by a scant 0.007s.
Championship leader Bruno Spengler was third fastest in his HWA Mercedes, the Canadian being the quickest driver in a newer 2009-spec car during the session.
David Coulthard made it both Mucke cars in the top four while Ralf Schumacher (HWA Mercedes), Edoardo Mortara (Rosberg Audi) and Renger van der Zande (Persson Mercedes) were next up - the Dutchman putting his qualifying off to the back of his mind.
Jamie Green (HWA), Christian Vietoris (Persson) and Oliver Jarvis (Abt Audi) completed the top 10 - Vietoris' car grinding to a halt on his warm-down lap at the end of the session and needing a tow back to the pits.
After his crash in the pits during qualifying, Abt Audi driver Mattias Ekstrom was only 17th during warm-up and completed less laps than anybody else.
