The long-drawn-out saga of Danica Patrick's mooted full-time move to NASCAR will finally be clarified next week, according to FoxSports.com, which reports that the IndyCar racer and NASCAR Nationwide part-timer will announce at a press conference tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 24 at 1 p.m. ET, that she will run the full season in the Nationwide Series for JR Motorsports in 2012. A limited schedule in the Sprint Cup Series with cars fielded by Stewart-Haas Racing, with the intent of moving full time to Cup in 2013, is also in the works, according to FoxSports.
Previous reports had indicated that Patrick would continue to run the Indy 500 alongside her NASCAR deal, although FoxSports.com's report says that "remains to be seen."
