
A hydrogen car built from 90 percent carbonfiber has won third place in the most efficient vehicle category in the 26th Shell Eco Marathon by managing to travel approximately 353 miles on a quarter gallon of fuel – but its builders are gunning for 1000 kilometers on 1 liter.
The SAHIMO, built by Turkish students at Sakarya University, weighs just 240lbs and will take part in the 2009 Global Green Challenge. Read [
