Stephane Peterhansel continued to cruise in the lead of the Dakar Rally as his X-raid teammate Orlando Terranova set the pace on stage 10.
Terranova's pace on the Cordoba to La Rioja stage made him the first Argentinian driver to take a Dakar stage win, and also the first man to set a fastest time in a BMW since 2010, the last year before X-raid switched to Minis for its main assault.
It was a 1-2-3 for X-raid on the stage, Mini duo Nani Roma and Peterhansel going second and third.
With Nasser Al-Attiyah out, Peterhansel's overall lead now stands at a comfortable 52m38s over Giniel de Villiers' Toyota with just four stages to go.
Leonid Novitskiy retains third despite losing time to Roma on Tuesday, while Terranova's stage win cements his fifth place.
