A1GP boss Tony Teixeira says he will keep Team GBR running himself until the team's financial future is resolved.
The Team GBR franchise was forced into administration after the race at Kyalami in February, but Teixeira had a makeshift team assembled to keep the car running in Portugal last weekend.
"As long as we have A1GP, Team GBR will run," Teixeira told AUTOSPORT. "It's obviously unfortunate that this has happened, but we have undertaken to run the team for the forseeable future. This is clearly a sign of the times and it's a shame."
Former GBR seat holder Tony Clements explained: "We were trying to put together a refinancing package when two of my partners pulled out. Now we're working with an administrator to try to find a solution."
Dan Clarke finished 11th in the sprint race and seventh in the feature at Algarve, in his second outing for the team.
