Formula Ford Racer Slade Miller To Fly Team USA Flag in New Zealand

(Dec. 18, 2004) - Emerson Slade Miller is the latest promising young American race car driver to earn one of the prestigious Team USA Scholarships, and will carry the patriotic red-white-and-blue colors proudly as he contests a portion of the New Zealand Formula Ford Championship – including the renowned New Zealand Grand Prix – in January 2005.
 

Summit Racing Equipment Offers Contingency for '05 National Season

TALLMADGE, Ohio (December 6, 2004)— In 2005, Summit Racing Equipment will offer a contingency program for SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) competitors who finish first, second, third or fourth place in the Touring 1, Touring 2, GT-1, and American Sedan Classes. Contingency money will be awarded at each of the 2005 National Club Racing events as well as the SCCA National Championship Runoffs® Presented by Kohler. Competitors in each of the four classes who place first, second, third or fourth and display a Summit Racing Equipment decal on each side of their vehicle will earn cash contingency prizes as follows: 1st place receives $100.00, 2nd place receives $75.00, 3rd place receives $50.00, and 4th place earns $25.00.
