The new FAZZT team that Alex Tagliani will drive for in this year's IndyCar Series made its testing debut at Homestead this week. Tagliani completed two days of running on the Miami oval with the squad, which is a partnership between entrepreneur Andre Azzi, motorsport promoter Jim Freudenberg, and actor Jason Priestley.

"These two days have been unbelievable," said Tagliani. "It has been the best days at the track for me in a long, long time. The team showed up and, by all appearances, you would think we had been working together for 10 years.

"The crew worked unbelievably hard to keep the car running and running smoothly over the course of the test and I think we were all pleasantly surprised that our first test for this brand-new team was so trouble free."

FAZZT will continue testing at Sebring later this month. The team has acquired the former Roth Racing equipment, and will give the French-Canadian his first full IndyCar season after recent partial campaigns with Conquest Racing.
