The all-new FAZZT race team has revealed some of its principal staff for its entry in the 2010 season. The No. 77 car, driven by Alex Tagliani, will have Don Oldenburg as its crew chief and Allen MacDonald as chief race engineer, both working from the Indianapolis shop, while former Forsythe Racing development engineer Alex Timmermans will oversee the testing program that will be based at the team's Montreal facility.

MacDonald worked with Dario Franchitti and then Tony Kanaan at Andretti Green Racing, while Oldenburg is a veteran of Patrick Racing and more recently, KV Racing. Rob Edwards, who joined FAZZT this autumn (from Walker Racing) as team manager, said: "We have been very fortunate to be able to finalize a number of our key personnel over the last few weeks. We tried to be patient enough to get the right people, but also to be ready to roll by our first test in early January."

The team is expecting delivery of all four of its Dallara chassis in the next week at its newly finished workshop in Indy, with the first on-track shakedown  scheduled for Homestead-Miami Speedway and Sebring Raceway in January. The team will reveal its sponsors and car livery in January at the Montreal Auto Show later that month.

FAZZT was formed around Alex Tagliani last July following the IndyCar race in Edmonton, and was set up by Andre Azzi of the Azzi Race Division, and Rubicon Sports Agency, owned by Jim Freudenberg and Jason Priestley. Freudenberg is FAZZT's CEO.
