Racing Engineering has announced that it will try out British Formula 3 front runner Rupert Svendsen-Cook and established GP2 drivers Fabio Leimer and Rodolfo Gonzalez in next week's Jerez tests.
British 21-year-old Svendsen-Cook will be making his GP2 testing debut after two years in British F3 with Carlin. Leimer was a race winner in GP2 with Ocean last year and Rapax this season, while Gonzalez has spent the past two seasons in GP2 with the Arden and Trident teams, but has only taken two points finishes to date.
Racing Engineering finished third in this year's GP2 teams' standings, taking two wins with Christian Vietoris. The Jerez sessions take place on Sept. 28-29.
