Adrian SutilAdrian Sutil says he has been pleased with his performance so far this season, as he reckons he has matured as a driver.

"I think it is a very good season," Sutil told AUTOSPORT at Silverstone. "My goal is to score a lot of points and be consistent, which was a big problem last year. But I know the car and I feel very good in it, it suits me, and I can always get the maximum out of it through the race weekend. I am really happy.

"From a driver's point of view, I have also grown up a bit. Through the years you learn a lot and now this is the first year I can really show it. But I am a really experienced driver here now and I can put it all together to bring the performance," added the Force India driver.

Sutil has scored 31 points in eight races and is currently in 10th position in the drivers' standings. The German is confident his team can keep its momentum going, thanks to a car that's moving forward all the time.

"The momentum is there. I think we have a better car than last year," he added. "Last year's was only very good on low-downforce circuits, but bad on high-downforce tracks. That's the way you win races in the future.

"We need a car that is good everywhere, and we have scored so many points already after half the season just because we have a consistent car and that was not the case last year. In 2009 we had three or four good circuits, and we had probably a chance for the podium, but everywhere else we were in big trouble. So that is another way forward."
