GP2 Asia squad Super Nova will run ex-Formula 3 Euro Series front-runner Jake Rosenzweig in the remainder of the series.
The 20-year-old American will drive the car previously raced by James Jakes and Marcus Ericsson in the last two rounds in Abu Dhabi. He will drive alongside Josef Kral.
Rosenzweig, who tested for the squad at Paul Ricard last November, said: "I'm very excited to sign for a team with the pedigree of Super Nova and am very much looking forward to driving the car this weekend in Bahrain, which will be my first experience of the GP2 race weekend format. I aim to learn quickly and be in with a chance of scoring points, enabling me to be in an even stronger position for the final race of the championship."
Team principal David Sears said: "I have followed Jake's career in Europe over the past couple of years and have been very impressed by the rate of progress that he has shown. I have no doubts that once Jake has gotten used to the GP2 Asia car he will be fighting at the sharp end of the grid."
