Will Stevens went fastest for P1 Motorsport on the final day of Formula Renault 3.5 testing at Aragon.

Stevens rose to the top of the time sheets in a dry final session, setting a 1m43.072s benchmark which was just enough to deprive Arthur Pic (Epic Racing) and Marco Sorensen (Gravity-Charouz). The second Gravity car of Richie Stanaway, pacesetter on the opening two days, ended the final session fourth fastest, although the German F3 champion's day two benchmark remained the fastest time across the whole test.

"I've enjoyed myself over the three days, in all conditions, and it's a real boost to see your name up there in first," Stanaway said. "I've worked really well with the Gravity-Charouz team and I hope to be on the grid for the Formula Renault 3.5 Series in 2012."

Kevin Korjus ended the test fifth fastest for Tech 1, the Estonian finishing within two tenths of Stevens' time.

He was followed by Nico Muller (Draco), Kevin Magnussen (Carlin), Nick Yelloly (Comtec) and Robin Frijns (Fortec), all of whom were covered by less than one tenth of a second. Zoel Amberg (Pons) rounded out the top 10.

Dean Stoneman, in his first competitive test since being diagnosed with testicular cancer, finished 17th fastest for ISR, within nine tenths of a second of Stevens.

The Aragon test represented the final outing for the current Formula Renault 3.5 chassis, with next year's car to be used for the next round of tests at the start of 2012.
