Ivan Lukashevic Barcelona GP3 test 2011

Status Grand Prix has completed its lineup for this year's GP3 Series by retaining Russian teenager Ivan Lukashevic for a second season.

Lukashevic, who is part of Marussia Motors' driver development scheme, will partner former McLaren/AUTOSPORT/BRDC Award winner Alexander Sims and Portuguese driver Antonio Felix da Costa in the three-car team.

"It's great to be back in the GP3 Series and continuing with Status GP," said Lukashevich. "I'm honored to again represent Marussia, and having a good knowledge of the GP3 car and all the circuits is going to stand me in good stead to make a real impression."

Lukashevic did not manage a points finish in GP3 last year, with 13th-place finishes at Hockenheim and Spa being his best results. During the winter, he was a race winner on his way to seventh in the New Zealand-based Toyota Racing Series, and has tested GP3 machinery for Status in recent months.
