Sebastien Bourdais will rejoin the Starworks team for the 2013 Rolex 24 at Daytona. The four-time Champ Car champion and Le Mans 24 Hours podium finisher is set to team up with Ryan Dalziel, Alex Popow and Allan McNish in the Starworks Riley-Ford.
Bourdais contested three mid-season Grand-Am races with Starworks this year, winning at Indianapolis alongside Dalziel and Enzo Potolicchio. He has made three previous Rolex 24 attempts, most recently in 2010, but is yet to finish.
"For the first time in my career, I will have a shot at winning Daytona and I am really happy to reunite with Peter Baron's Starworks Motorsport team after the success we enjoyed earlier this year," said Bourdais, who recently extended his IndyCar deal with Dragon Racing.
Starworks enjoyed an extremely successful 2012 season. Its runner-up finish at Daytona was followed by LMP2 class wins at the Sebring 12 Hours and Le Mans 24 Hours on the way to the class title in the World Endurance Championship. Dalziel finished runner-up in Grand-Am's Rolex Series for the squad.
