Richie Stanaway will make his GP3 Series debut at Spa this weekend after signing a two-race deal with reigning champion team ART Grand Prix.
The 19-year-old New Zealander won last year's ADAC Formel Masters title and currently leads the German F3 championship after winning nine times already in his first season in the category.
"Just found out I will be driving in the last two race weekends of the GP3 Series with ART Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps & Monza," Stanaway wrote on his Twitter.
ART has not confirmed which of its three drivers he will replace. Valtteri Bottas and James Calado, who lie first and fifth in the championship while Pedro Nunes has not scored a point this year.
