One of Kyle Busch's sponsors is hinting at removing him from additional races, sources told the Associated Press.
According to the AP report, Z-Line Designs is looking at replacing Busch with Denny Hamlin for the NASCAR Nationwide Series season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The sources spoke anonymously as sponsors in both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup divisions are evaluating Busch's future.
NASCAR has cleared Busch to drive after parking him for the remainder of the weekend at Texas Motor Speedway following his intentional wrecking of Ron Hornaday Jr. in the Camping World Truck Series race there. To this point, though, his employer Joe Gibbs Racing has remained largely silent on his immediate future.
NASCAR did, though, fine him $50,000 and place him on probation for the remainder of 2011.
