US F1's collapse apparently will not lead to the return of Peter Windsor pitside for SPEED and FOX Sports telecasts of Formula 1 races in 2010. The networks announced this week that commentators Bob Varsha, David Hobbs and Steve Matchett will be paired with a new grid reporter: Will Buxton (left), the 29-year-old founding editor of GPWeek magazine and a former media manager for the GP2 Series. Westbury Gillett will fill in for Buxton for the first few races of the season, as Buxton and his wife are currently expecting their first child.

SPEED will air 15 of this year's 19 F1 races races live, complete with practice and qualifying coverage, while FOX will air four consecutive events, beginning with the Canadian Grand Prix, using the same on-air team. Practice and qualifying for those four events will be live on SPEED.
