Petter Solberg says he will risk everything in his efforts to land second place in this year's World Rally Championship. The Citroen C4 WRC driver is fourth ahead of this evening's start of Rally GB, 16 points behind current second-placed man Sebastien Ogier.
"Sure, I'm up for a big fight and I'm willing to push for second," Solberg said. "I'm going to take big risks and I know for sure the guys will want the same thing. But the statistics are saying that Ogier has not been so good recently, maybe he's not going to be so strong. OK, I'm joking, but you don't know [what can happen]...
"I have nothing to lose. There is no team standing over me saying: 'Come on, come on!' I'm fourth at the moment and I can only gain places. The other guys can only lose."
Solberg is the driver with the best Rally GB record, with four wins from the last eight starts.
