SingTel will continue to be the title sponsor of the Singapore Grand Prix after renewing its deal with the event's organizers for a further two years.
The telecommunications company started sponsoring the race when it made its debut on the Formula 1 calendar back in 2008, when it became the sport's first ever night grand prix. The new deal is for 2011 and for 2012.
"We are delighted that SingTel will be continuing as the title sponsor of the Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix," said Bernie Ecclestone. "As a Singapore company which has grown to become a key player in the world of telecommunications and multimedia, SingTel is the ideal naming rights sponsor for this innovative and prestigious round of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship."
