Alexander SimsMcLaren Autosport BRDC Award winner Alexander Sims will contest the International Formula Master races supporting this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix.

The 21-year-old, who is racing full-time in the F3 Euro Series this year, has been handed a drive in Hungary as part of a new scheme, known as the IFM Talent Support Program, along with Earl Bamber and Samuele Buttarelli.

"It fits in perfectly with my F3 campaign this year as I believe the cars are quite similar in performance, which is great," said Sims. "To be able to learn a new car and a new track is a fantastic opportunity, particularly with it being a support to Formula 1. I think it will be very interesting for me to compare myself with a new set of drivers in a different environment and I am really looking forward to seeing how we can do this weekend.

"I will travel to Hungary feeling that a podium would be good result seeing as I have never driven the car or the circuit before. May I also say a big thank you to IFM for making this opportunity possible for me."
