Ducati gave reigning 125cc champion Julian Simon two days of testing at Jerez this week. The Spaniard was called up after Ducati's scheduled test rider Franco Battaini was injured.
Simon completed 115 laps for the Italian squad, including a race simulation, as he carried out development work. Although full timings were not issued, he lapped in the 1m41sec region.
His main focus this season will be the new Moto2 championship, which he is graduating to with his 125cc squad Aspar.
