Work on Silverstone's new pit and paddock complex is "firmly on schedule," according to the track bosses.
The new facility, which will be used during the 2011 British Grand Prix, is scheduled for completion in May next year. The complex includes new garages, a race control building, a new podium, media center, hospitality and VIP spectator zones.
"We are on schedule to meet our self-imposed completion date of May, 2011," said Silverstone's managing director Richard Phillips.
"This pioneering development, and the redevelopment of Silverstone at large, will provide a world-class facility where all forms of motorsport can be celebrated in style – by competitors and spectators alike.
"As the iconic building on the circuit, the new pit, paddock and conference complex will reaffirm Silverstone's position as a premier racing destination and our status as a global leader."
