Santa Monica, Calif.-based SEAT TIME prepared its own fleet of simulators to be operated alongside simulcast coverage of this year's Rolex 24 at Daytona earlier this year. With four CXC Simulations Motion Pro II simulators outfitted, the group on hand was able to race the legendary road course.
The machines provide a panoramic and peripheral view of the track. Chas Lawrence, a Ferrari Club of America Southwest Region member and proprietor, set the time to beat but was not eclipsed by his rivals.
Lawrence, though, still handed out T-shirts to club members for their best efforts, and racer Sage Marie was only a half second off the fastest lap.
