ELKHART LAKE, Wis., (June 22, 2008) – Sports Car Club of America and Elkhart Lake’s Road America jointly announced the dates for the 2009 SCCA National Championship Runoffs® today. Additionally, the first group of lodging establishments pledging a discounted rate for Runoffs participants was revealed.
The 2009 event will move back to September for the first time since 2005, with qualifying scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 22 through Thursday, Sept. 24. Race days will be Friday, Sept. 25 through Sunday, Sept. 27. The preceding week Monday, Sept. 14 through Monday, Sept. 21, will hold pre-event optional testing.
