Image274The 2017 SCCA National Championship Runoffs, now through Oct. 1, will be different from any other in the event's history. The 54th edition of the Runoffs is taking place at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and nearly 1,000 drivers will compete for 28 national championships.

Adam Andretti grew up in the shadows of cousins Michael and Marco, Uncle Mario and brother John but has been hanging at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for much of his 38 years. On Friday, he added to the Andretti history at IMS by charging from 10th to third in the GT-2 class at the Runoffs.
