Image272The 2017 SCCA National Championship Runoffs, now through Oct. 1, will be different from any other in the event's history. The 54th edition of the Runoffs will take place at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and nearly 1,000 drivers will compete for 28 national championships.

Mike Cobb has only been president of the SCCA for a few months but he's managing the largest field in SCCA history this week at Indianapolis. He reflects on the challenges and teamwork needed to pull this big-time event off at the world-famous track.
