KobayashiThe Sauber team will show its support for Japan during the Australian Grand Prix by sporting a message on its cars during the weekend.

The team, who has a special relationship with the Asian country because of its driver Kamui Kobayashi, will carry the message "May our prayers reach the people in Japan." The message, written in Japanese, will be on Kobayashi's and teammate Sergio Perez's car.

"It is difficult to find the right words to express our emotions and feelings, but silence means we can't even begin to imagine how to try," said team boss Peter Sauber. "We can hardly believe what we are seeing. Our thoughts are with the people in Japan. We hope they will have the necessary strength to overcome these circumstances of extreme adversity."
