The #08 Peugeot crew celebrate Petit Le Mans victoryPetit Le Mans victor Stephane Sarrazin described his and the team's performance as "perfect" following their one-lap win at Road Atlanta.

Sarrazin and teammates Franck Montagny and Pedro Lamy, were delighted with the handling of their Peugeot 908 and the strategy the team employed to secure their second straight win in the new Intercontinental Le Mans Cup series.

"It was just perfect," he said. "The car was good all weekend, good balance we could push very hard."

Having won last year's rain-shortened race, Montagny said he was pleased to demonstrate the car's true pace this year.

"We were the fastest on track again this year," he said. "We didn't steal this. Same car, same team, same results – the only difference was the rain!"

Lamy will not be racing at the final Intercontinental round at Zhuhai in China, so felt the Petit win was a fitting end to his season.

"It's my last race in the 908 so it's good to sign off with a victory," he added.
