Filip Salaquarda has joined AF Corse to drive the team's Ferrari 458 Italia in this year's FIA GT1 World Championship. The Czech driver completed in the Superleague series in 2011, also driving a Ferrari 458 GT3 in three races during the past year.
Salaquarda is the third driver announced by AF Corse after Francesco Castellacci and Enzo Ide.
"I am very pleased to achieve this goal," said Salaquarda. "AF Corse is the highest team in the world for the structure, technology and organization.
"During the winter, I have carefully examined the various options to race in 2012: AF Corse is absolutely the best choice. I'm waiting to get on track to start working with my new team."
