Ferrari to drop Raikkonen?</a>
Ferrari Formula 1 driver Kimi Raikkonen could be bought out of his contract at the end of the team, according to Britain's The Sun
newspaper. The Finn is on a $25m annual retainer with the Italian team, but The Sun
reported today that he has been offered half the value of his 2010 contract to end it early. This could make room for either Robert Kubica, whose BMW Sauber team is set to withdraw from F1 at the end of the year, or Renault driver Fernando Alonso, who has been linked with Ferrari for some time.
