James RossiterJames Rossiter will make his World Endurance Championship debut with Lotus at the Spa Six Hours in May as the Kodewa-run team expands to a pair of cars.

Rossiter, who raced a GTE-class Evora at Le Mans last year, will be one of two drivers in the second Lotus-engined Lola B12/80 LMP2 machine. His co-driver will be American amateur Kevin Weeda.

"I feel very honored to be part of Lotus again and to race for the team in FIA WEC this year. It is great for my career to be back racing in LMP2 class," said Rossiter, a race winner in the American Le Mans Series and a former Formula 1 tester for Super Aguri.

"Representing the legendary Lotus colors means a lot to me and I hope that we will have good results. I would especially like to thank Kevin Weeda for making this opportunity a reality."

The other Lola-Lotus will continue to be raced by Thomas Holzer, Mirco Schultis and Luca Moro.
