Valentino Rossi has been given the all-clear to compete in this weekend's German MotoGP following a medical assessment at the Sachsenring on Thursday.

The reigning MotoGP champion has missed the last four races after breaking his right leg in a practice crash at Mugello. The Italian, who intends to make his comeback just six weeks after his accident, was examined by the circuit's Chief Medical Officer Dr. Huber Fischer, who found him fit enough to compete.
