Valentino Rossi completed his second day of testing at the wheel of a Ferrari Formula 1 car on Thursday at the Barcelona circuit.
The MotoGP champion's session was delayed due to the thick fog that covered the Spanish track in the morning. When the sun came out, Rossi managed to complete some dry running which Ferrari said led to a "remarkable improvement of lap times and performance."
Rossi, driving a 2008 car fitted with GP2 tires, was joined by Brazilian Felipe Massa, who arrived at the track for his test session tomorrow. Massa will take to the track with the two-year-old car to continue to gain confidence following his accident at last year's Hungarian Grand Prix.
